The Dry Legumes project of the Estación Experimental Agroindustrial Obispo has developed a new variety of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.), type Kabuli of large caliber, TUC G-470. In order to register the new variety in the National Register of Cultivars (RNC) and the National Register of Cultivar Property (RNPC), the description of morphological, phenological and sanitary characteristics was carried out. The evaluations were performed on plants from a trial located in La Ramada, department Burruyacú, province of Tucumán. The information presented in this work is obligatory for the registration of the new variety and allows to differentiate it from similar ones.
