Resumen
A, Verga. Prosopis seeds stands from native forest. Quebracho (Santiago del Estero) [online]. 2014, vol.22, n.2, pp.125-138. ISSN 1851-3026.
One of the main problems of the Prosopis tree crop is the lack of genetic uniformity of the seed. This inconvenience comes from genetic exchange between species that occurs naturally in this complex. The present work aims at presenting the methodological basis for transforming native Prosopis stands in more stable genetically seed producers stands, to allow more uniformity of plantations and higher genetic gains in the breeding process. Two methods of evaluation are explaining to establish genetic thinning: a taxonomic and morphological, and a biochemical marker analysis.
