Abstract

GARATE, Miriam Viviana. Cinematographic presence in two journals of avant-garde: the cases of klaxon (Brazil) and Martín Fierro (Argentina). Rev. Pilquen [online]. 2007, n.9. ISSN 1851-3123.

This text analyses some features of cinematographic discourse in two emblematic journals of avant-garde movement - one of them published in S. Paulo (Klaxon); the other one in the Rio de la Plata region (Martín Fierro). The major themes addressed are: differential aspects between movies and theater; the role of subtitles and written language in cinematographic language; relation between cinema/moral or social behavior; cinema and spectators.
