Abstract

MIHAL, Ivana. National Reading Plan: notes on a policy o promote reading. Rev. Pilquen [online]. 2009, n.11. ISSN 1851-3123.

In this paper we focus on some models of the implementation of the National Reading Plan (NLP) as a guideline to discuss issues related to the new meaning of this policy at the national and local level. From this starting point, we will explore the tensions involved in its management, at the national and local level. To do this, from a sociological and anthropological perspective, we have carried out participant and non participant observations in activities proposed by the central technical team of the Plan, as well as in the development of specific proposals in the City of Buenos Aires. We also had in-depth interviews and informal meetings with the coordinators of NLP of different Provinces of Argentina and developed a survey of documentary sources, from 2006 to 2007.

Keywords : Reading plan; Stakeholders; Public policies; National; Local.
