Abstract

ARONSON, Paulina Perla. From the popular education to the biographical education. Rev. Pilquen [online]. 2010, n.12. ISSN 1851-3123.

The present writing discusses the concept of popular education -developed by Sarmiento in support of his thesis about the economic and social development of South American countries- and the notion of biographical education -closely linked to the emergence of "society of knowledge" and their associated processes-. The aim is modest and intents to draw attention to the reiteration of topics, as well as the changes in the contents and objectives of education.

Keywords : Popular education; Biographical education; Development; Skills; Job skills.
