Abstract

OLEJARCZYK, Romina. From Villa Corina to Dínamo: inhabit in a social housing building. Rev. Pilquen. secc. cienc. soc. [online]. 2017, vol.20, n.2, pp.13-26. ISSN 1851-3123.

This article proposes an immersion in a set of social housing of the AMBA, built in the framework of the Federal Programs, to enter into the first experiences of inhabiting the post move neighborhood by a group of neighbors. The stories collected are traversed by the difficulties of living together in the first months; by the cross-representations between "the new and the old inhabitants of the neighborhood"; by the assessment of those who simply observed the construction of the houses but did not get to be selected as potential winners of the same. These stories suggest that experiences of post-moving dwelling far exceed material housing. This article is based on a field work carried out during the years 2011 and 2012, which was based mainly on semi-structured interviews with inhabitants of an urban group, grassroots workers, members of neighborhood institutions and officials, As well as observation in the daily life of the neighborhood, waiting in the municipal office, performing acts of housing delivery and neighborhood days.

Keywords : Inhabit; Social Housing; Neighborhood; Federal Programs.
