Abstract

Strike for sexual harassment in a North American multinational company: Contributions to the study of the relationship between rank and file unionism and gender in present Argentina. Rev. In the context of the new role of unions in post-convertibility Argentina, which arises associated with economic and employment growth from 2004 onwards, the aim of this article is to advance in the analyzing of the relationship between rank and file unionism and gender, considering a significant experience of this process: the Internal Commission of the Kraft Foods (today Mondelez) food factory. To this purpose, the analysis focuses on the strike for sexual harassment carried out by the Kraft workers in 2011, which achived to question the gender social relations that were raised at workplace.
