Abstract

BELIERA, Anabel A.. Sectoral demands and dispute of public policy: Trade union participation of Neuquén health workers in the face of state reform in the 90's. Rev. Pilquen. secc. cienc. soc. [online]. 2018, vol.21, n.1, pp.72-86. ISSN 1851-3123.

In this article I will analyze the process of conformation of the union framework of the workers of the Neuquén public health system since the modification of the sanitary policies of this province in the decade of the 90 '. I will resort to the historical analysis to observe the articulation of corporate demands and the disputes over the public policies that these workers carried out in relation to the Neuquén State, exposing some union conflicts that became historical milestones and turning points in their union experience (like the strikes of the years 1991, 1993, 1998). The corpus of analysis is made up of diverse graphic and textual materials of union archive, as well as semi-structured in-depth interviews with workers in the sector.

Keywords : Trade unionism; Neuquén; Public health; ATE; Professionals.
