The aim of this paper is to characterize the political consulting as an expertise extended and legitimized for the exercise of professional politics in Argentina today. From a pragmatic perspective, working on a set of in-depth interviews with directors and workers of different political consulting firms, we seek to analyze the knowledge, practices and meanings linked to the production and circulation of data produced by these professionals and put in evidence the complex network of relationships that are established between different actors.
