The article analyzes the installation process of the model of social responsibility in the Spanish University system, especially from the perspective of the characteristics and peculiarities that brings the Strategy University 2015 which places it within the scope of the third university mission. We describe the main aspects of accountability process made by the Spanish universities. Using the technique of content analysis are reviewed university social responsibility reports published by the Spanish universities in the last decade, as one of the main forms of expression of this model. The results obtained show that major trends of University social responsibility in Spain are directed towards managing the impacts with the stakeholders, especially the efforts by its personnel, the environment and students.
