We report an accident produced by Tityus falconensis González-Sponga, 1974 (Scorpiones, Buthidae) in a 48 years old male patient. The accident was considered clinically as an envenomation with no systemic compliance, with just local signs and symptoms (oedema and hyperemia in the halux and paresthesia of the plantar part of the right foot). The accident took place within the human environment (in dormitory) in the rural community of La Peña, Sierra de San Luis, Falcon state, North-Western region from Venezuela.
