A burn by Ethyl chloroformate in occasion of response to a chemical emergency which required to transfer products from defective containers to safe containers is described. The investigation of the event highlighted the need to maintain aprotocol for the registration of materials to be entered in the hot zone, which must be considered al the moment of remove andproceeding to the proper decontamination under the supervision of the security officer.
