Abstract

PEDRANZANI, HE; QUIROGA, AM  and  MOLINA, MC. Producción de callos e inducción de plantas de Digitaria eriantha Avanzada INTA in vitro. Phyton (B. Aires) [online]. 2004, vol.73, pp.111-114. ISSN 1851-5657.

Digitaria eriantha Steudel subesp. eriantha, forage pasture of Southafrican origin adapted to the semiarid region of Argentina, was regenerated and propagated in vitro with the objective of production germoplasm with greater resistance to low temperatures. Different tissues, disinfecting techniques and in vitro media were tried. Friable calli were established and transferred to plantule induction medium obtaining acclimatized plants with good root and foliar development which were maintainedat 20ºC.
