The private and cooperatives farmers compete in many agricultural traditional market like milk, grain and cotton. In Misiones, they also compete in citrus where there are two citrus basins and in each one it exists an productive organization predominant. This survey analizes the efficiencies achieved in samples of the two groups using Data Envelopment Analysis. The input variables have been the manpower and inputs to maintenance of the crops and output of the production achieved. This survey has allowed to obtain the technical efficiency that it measures the outcome in the conversion of resources to products and the scale efficiency that it gives an indicator of this one related to the optimal of the farms. It has been proved that the cooperative farmers show better technical and efficiencies values than the free lance farmers, therefore it is rejected the survey hypotheses.
