Resumen
SORIA, Sofía. Critique, Politics, and decolonial pedagogy: A lecture against the grain. Estud. filos. práct. hist. ideas [online]. 2017, vol.19, n.1, pp.15-29. ISSN 1851-9490.
In this article, I expose how the modernity/coloniality research programme thematises the concepts of critique and politics. Then, I specify how those concepts are crafted in the proposal by Catherine Walsh, where the interculturality delimits the sense of a critical thinking and of a politics addressed at the transformations of the modern-colonial order whose method is the decolonial pedagogy. On this ground, I point some theoretical-political problems derived from its exposition, mainly two: on one side, the necessary relation that is foreshadowed between subaltern condition and critical thinking; on the other, the non-acknowledgement of the intellectual experience as an instance of production of the subaltern subject. These problematic nodes allow me to demonstrate how this perspective reintroduces the modern Eurocentric assumptions and, at the same time, to propose an intellectual intervention that accepts the constitutive heterogeneity of the political subjectivity and the need of an ontological critique of ourselves.
