GUERRA PEREZ, Mariana. Voices from the south: about a policy. Estud. filos. práct. hist. ideas [online]. 2020, vol.22, n.1, pp.1-18. ISSN 1851-9490.
This work responds to an investigation that we are carrying out. In it we propose that race and gender respond to hegemonic political and epistemological matrices that provoke the subalternization of the voices of indigenous women, of color, poor, dissidents of the heteronorm. From the place where we are, the academy, some questions arise: what uses do we make of race and gender in terms of knowledge production? What semiotic processes do we go through? How do they affect? In this sense, writing seeks to address the ways of administering-managing-meaning these categories that are configured with modernity and circulate with colonial intrusion. For this reason, we have decided to convene heterogeneous voices, such as those of women from the 36 united nations, María Lugones, Rita Segato, Karina Bidaseca, Gayatri Spivak, Yuderkys Espinosa, who inhabit various spaces but who share a (pre) politics and epistemia occupation. Well, entering these fields of discussion brings us closer to diverse positions and leads us to displacements of subjects before subalternization.
