Abstract

BUBELLO, Juan Pablo. Magia y polémicas antimágicas en la España bajo medieval Enrique de Villena, su Tratado de fascinación o de aojamiento y los límites de la ortodoxia cristiana. Prohistoria [online]. 2012, vol.17, pp.1-24. ISSN 1851-9504.

The Tratado de Fascinación o de Aojamiento, written by Enrique de Villena in the early fifteenth century, is a good entry point for approaching the history of esotericism in the Iberian Peninsula at the time. Against the classical approach of Villena and the perspective of historians of science, from the perspective of cultural history we suggest an approach on an old problem that still deserves further research yet.

Keywords : Esotericism; Enrique de Villena; Antimagic polemics; 15 th. Century.
