The objective of this paper is to analyze the process of incorporation of women into the labour world in Córdoba city, between 1904 and 1919. It particularly explores their occupational profiles, their involvement in labour conflicts and organizations and the representations that have been constructed in female work. In order to accomplish this task, this paper examines the conditions under which these women worked, the development of strategies during labour conflicts and the state regulations for women's labour market participation.
