Resumen

CASTELFRANCO, Diego. La CGT de los Argentinos, un proyecto trunco de renovación sindical (1968-1969). Prohistoria [online]. 2012, vol.17, pp.77-99. ISSN 1851-9504.

This article studies the main factors and characteristics that defined the creation of the CGT de los Argentinos, in march 1968, and it's evolution until the moment in which the last unions that supported it were intervened and it was thus virtually dissolved, in june 1969. The article tries to show that the CGTA acted in a certain way as a precursor of the more radicalized movements that would gain a central relevance in the following years, but that it wasn't able to effectively pursue its project as a consequence of its own internal contradictions.
