This article intends to offer some key points for the analysis of the Argentinian political parties and Mercosur relationship, mainly focusing on the parliamentary sphere, either at a national level, considering the discussions on the "foundation treaties" of this integration process, or at a regional level, through the presentation of elements related to the work developed by the Joint Parlamentary Commission of Mercosur. In both cases, special attention is paid to the legislators' party membership by identifying their political affiliation and the positioning they support throughout the analyzed period of time.
