The return of the Peronism to power was not only a political fact deeply significant at the domestic level, but that claimed an inter-national relevance, by which implied and/or could lead for a conflict and intensely con-tested region. The importance is reflected both in the ceremony of assumption, which involved a huge amount of international delegations, as in the great coverage and jour-nalistic impact at the global level. This paper describes the inauguration and its impact in the international press as internal political symbol -stage of a dispute between the lines of the Peronism- and as an element of analysis of argentinian international relations in the context of the Cold War.
