This work presents the results of lithic analysis of Middle Holocene occupational levels at two sites located in the mountain range of Balcarce district. The study, which addresses the technological analysis, aims to interpret the procurement, production and discard processes carried out in phases of the operational chain. In this case, the synchronicity and spatial proximity of the two sites, together with technological results, allows to establish similar trends in the patterns of occupation. For this reason, they have been interpreted as ephemeral and expeditious occupations in a broader context of mobility in mountain environments.
