In this article we analyze health/disease/care process around respiratory disease in children under fve years old, attending to a primary healthcare center from Gran La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Throughout qualitative methodology we work with case study analysis interviewing family members and the pediatrician about recent or in course cases. We observed that the resolution of health problems was not exclusively circumscribed to ‘official spaces’ involving different actors from domestic and extra-domestic scopes. This study allowed us to identify convergences and differences among pediatrician and family members regarding diagnosis, etiology and therapy stories of the disease. Moreover this research gives light on specific behavior of actors involved in health/disease/care process in the context of primary healthcare.
