This paper presents the main results on distributional archaeology and technological organization, obtained in the frame of the doctoral thesis entitled Los pueblos originarios en el Norte de Pampa Seca. Una mirada arqueológica a los cazadores recolectores del Sur de Córdoba y San Luis. Lithic raw materials constitute the main component recovered from the archaeological record in this área. The structure of the regional lithic resource base was complemented with petrographic studies carried out on non-local rocks. The spatial characterization of the amount of rocks present in each subarea was assessed through both the subdivision of the area (considering environmental and geomorphological criteria) and the universe of lithic resources (considering the percentage of appearance). Based on this, and adding techno-typological studies, management strategies as well as potential vectors of interaction were defned.
