Abstract: This work highlights the main scientific policies promoted by CONICET regarding the development of historical science during the last military dictatorship. Focusing on the intervening agents and their implemented policies, their impact is evaluated throughout the last civic-military dictatorship and after the democratic recovery, observing ambiguities, continuities and ruptures.
