Abstract In a context of crisis caused by the pandemic, the aim of the research is to present a reflection on the interest of young people to participate in politics during the 2021 electoral processes, precisely in the presidential elections in Chile, Peru, Nicaragua and Honduras. As well as the midterm elections that are going to be held in Mexico and Argentina. In a year where poverty and inequality employed has been significantly raised due to the economic crisis faced by countries in Latin America.
