This paper sets out reflections on the approach of mass politics and culture in interwar period from a perspective that brings into play connections between the cultural industries and politics understood in a broad sense. The consolidation of cultural industries is an inescapable social fact of the modernization process and a privileged lens to access new dimensions of political and cultural life of this period. Categories, chronological frameworks, research designs and sources are moments and decisions that have been analyzed in dialogue with other knowledge.
