Chest is the target of many complications occurring in these patients at some time of the disease evolution . Those complications may impair the recovery, interfere with the response to treatment and are occasionally life-threatening. They caused by direct effect of tumor due to invasion or compression of regional organs or by indirect effect due to systemic spread or treatment side reactions. The aim of this review is to describe the most frequent thoracic complications of malignant diseases.
