Abstract

Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis and mucormycosis are diseases caused by the ubiquitous moulds in immunocompromised patients. Numerous underlying situations have been associated with this condition particularly in patients with haematologic malignancies who receive cytotoxic chemotherapy. We present a case of a patient with diagnostic of Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis and mucormycosis first treated with cytotoxics due to a linfoblastic leukemia. Macroscopic, histologic and mycological tests underwent in the mentioned patient lungs, confirmed the diagnosis.
