The argentine's reform in the health area and the desregulation that took place in pharmaceutical sector during the decade of 1990 become worse sanitary condition of people. This circumstance give occasion for the arose o consolidation of alternative forms of production and distribution whose objective was a better population access to medicaments. Is important to rebound that the medicines differ from the others goods and services that the consumer acquires on the market. In this case the economic system must approach to a social acceptable position for distributive equity and State roll must be central. For this, the aim of this communication is narrate the history of the public development production during the ninety decade and in the early twenty fist century with the analysis of different institution that make medicines public production.
