Abstract

This article aims to describe the Santa Fe Province's legislative initiatives for promoting economic activities' development. It considered the period 1991- 2015, focusing mainly on differences between 90's and the years after 2001's crisis. Conceptually, it focused according notions of state capabilities and economic development. Methodologically, it analyzed laws passed by the Legislature between 1991 and 2015 with direct references to economic activities that compose Santa Fe's economic structure. These documents were analyzed with the software Atlas.ti.
