LANDRISCINI, Graciela S.. Restructuring, productivity and labor flexibility in unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs: The case of the neuquén basin. SaberEs [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.2, pp.197-226. ISSN 1852-4418.

This document addresses issues related to production and organization of labour in the hydrocarbon complex in the Neuquén Basin, particularly the processes that operate in non-conventional reservoirs. The impact of wages and working conditions is reviewed given the context of deregulation and restructuring of the sector and the fall in international prices of crude oil. It is thus defined in the Basin a scenario of agreements and disputes of agents of hydrocarbons to occupy positions in Vaca Muerta, in which processes of technical change and learning are deployed, subcontracting is consolidated and labor flexibility has been installed. As part of a wider investigation, secondary sources have been consulted focusing on sectoral studies, the collective labor agreements of the oil unions, the agreement by which the Preventive Crisis Procedure was implemented in February 2016, and the Addendum to the Collective Agreement signed in January 2017, disseminated as Agreement for the Improvement of Sectorial Productivity. Interviews were also conducted with actors linked to contractor companies. Having analyzed the mentioned issues, some reflections and questions that open new stages of inquiry are presented.

Palavras-chave : Outsourcing; Oil Work; Shale and Tight Deposits.
