The novel of Manuel Vicent, Son de mar, has been adapted to the cinema by the director Bigas Luna, with script of Rafael Azcona. In the passage of the literary work to the film the personage of Martina undergoes certain changes that can be explained from the intervention of this last one. The protagonist registers in a series of women who in the universe of the scriptwriter in front of share certain characteristics and attitudes, specially, in front of the man, so that is legitimate to speak of the azconization of the wife of the professor of Classic.
