Abstract

NITSCH, Wolfram. fuego aprisionado: artillería y pirotecnia en la poesía moral de Quevedo . Olivar [online]. 2015, vol.16, n.23, pp.00-00. ISSN 1852-4478.

A Quevedo did not like time machines. For example, in an artillery piece, he saw a threat to both the creation and for the stratified society. In the case of pyrotechnics, however, his attitude towards the technique seems more nuanced. If on one hand pyrotechnics opposes nature and deceives man, it is presented by another party as an awesome equivalent of poetic text

Keywords : Technical device; artillery fireworks; moral poetry; Francisco de Quevedo.
