Ancestral customs that have reinforced ethnic identify via the conception of corporal modification, remain rooted in many cultures, especially with regard to the head, as occurs in the Andean cultures of Peru. We can decode and reconstruct the signs included in these texts in order to understand the meaning and value to man's trajectory: Creator and user of symbols.
