The aim of this article is, in accordance with the structure proposed by the editors to all the articles of these dossier, to go back to the main contributions of Norbert Elias` s work, in particular, TheCourtSociety. In a second time, we aim to contrast these ideas with some evidence produced in the field work that allude to the sociability, in general, and to the active work that some alumni of the Buenos Aires National High School carry out in the production and reproduction of its elite group.
