Museums are presented as social spaces. Places to and interactwithothers, and to link differentgenerations. Children and adultsexchangetheir ideas aboutobjects, thehistory, and aboutstoriesthat are passedon. Museums resort to differentstrategies to convenefamilies. One of thestrategies has beengames and toys. Wepresenttheoreticalperspectivesonmuseums and intergenerationallinkage, childhood and oldage as social constructions and games and toys as opportunitiesforcreativity in museums. We describe a studyontheevaluation of theparticipants of a proposaldeveloped in a museum in thecity of Río Cuarto calledSpaces to meet: games and toys in themuseum. As a result, we can highlightthepositive responses of theparticipants, consideringthattheproposalallowsforsharinganenrichingexperience in social terms.
