The B. Sc. in Genetics of the Universidad Nacional de Misiones was created as a degree career in 1975 and is a truly innovative academic offer for the era in which it was conceived. It is also the result of the interaction between people of different countries, sources and training, but with clear vision about the importance of education for development, the need to open new fields of science education. It is also an example of the possibility of articulation and integration in transcendental projects without explicitly intervention of States or Governments.
