This is a single case psychoanalytic investigation, which aims at studying clinical evolution in children. We used the DLA instruments to study the analytic dialogue. This paper is centered on the selection of the sample. Our Freudian point of view guided us to select related scenes, with the aim of comparing and deducing from them whether there are changes or not in the patient's position. After the first selection, we had some doubts regarding the affinity of the scenes of the sample's first fragment as regards the second and the third one. A more detailed study revealed deeper affinities than the ones we had previously detected.
