Abstract

QUIROGA, Susana  and  CRYAN, Glenda. Adolescentes tempranos violentos: análisis del macroproceso terapéutico utilizando el modelo de ciclo terapéutico-TCMViolent Early Adolescents: Therapeutic Microprocess Analysis Applying The Therapeutic Cycle Model-TCM. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2011, vol.15, n.1, pp.200-229. ISSN 1852-7310.

The therapeutic-diagnostic device Therapy Focus Group (Grupo de Terapia Focalizada-GTF) was created and developed within the Clinical Psychology Program for Adolescents, South Region Premises, UBA (Programa de Psicología Clínica para Adolescentes, Sede Regional Sur, UBA) (Director: Prof. Dr. Susana Quiroga) to deal with violent adolescents. The therapeutic macroprocess analysis, considering only the text of the patients, was employed using the Therapeutic Cycle Model-TCM (Mergenthaler, 1996a, 1996b, 1998, 2008). This analysis showed that: 1) therapeutic change was registered in the frst sessions of the device with the emergence of the Connecting pattern and the Therapeutic Cycle, which leads in a direct way to the activation of emotion and refexive processes and 2) the production of narrative was achieved in the sessions in which emotion as well as abstraction evidenced low levels, that is to say, in sessions in which the Relaxing pattern predominated: the contents of these sessions referred to the family and the family ties.

Keywords : Therapy Focus Group; Violent adolescents; Therapeutic macroprocess analysis.
