The author presents an interventional device created, inter alia, for institutional diagnosis called Institutional Phantasmatic Map (IPM). Firstly, he exposes its basic theoretical guidelines and its specific characteristics. Then, he applies it in the diagnosis of an institution and, finally, he makes some remarks concerning processes and outcomes, differentiating between hypothetical assumptions and change indicators.
