The present research focus is on exploring the ideals, in breadth and depth, as a rhetorical expression of drives manifested in ten psychoanalysts´ narratives, concerning their involvement in a psychoanalytical institution. The article presents the background of the research, its theoretical framework, stages, and centers on the results. Finally, conclusions and suggestions for future research are put forward.
