Resumen

SNEIDERMAN, Susana et al. Exploration of subjectivity and defense mechanisms in latent children by means of the interpretation of the desiderative questionnaire. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.1, pp.146-168. ISSN 1852-7310.

The Desiderative Questionnaire for children explores subjectivity capturing the subtleties of evolution changes from symbols and rationale, wishes and defences. It explores fantasies, fears, symbolic capacity, loss bereavement and degree of cohesion achieved by the ego. We undertook a normative approach in children 7-10 years old, of both genders (2014, CABA). Some outcomes denote answers suggesting different evolution conflicts, linked to the development of the Oedipus and castration or to the advent of puberty. Values, ideals, experiences, which allow to assume certain personality traits in formation are also inferred. In early and late latency, we observed urethral phallic responses and defenses as well as genital phallic ones, which when failed result in responses alluding to body disagreeable sensations due to unawareness of own body or else mind ramparts relating to grossness, morality and shame. The sample as a whole shows further results as well as significant differences by gender.

Palabras clave : Desiderative Questionnaire for children; Wishes; Defences.
