With the finality of select a priori seeds of Zizyphus mistol Grisebach, with better germination and vigor attributes to ensure their sexual multiplication, it was correlated the size and weight of drupes, endocarps and seeds with both physiological aspects. It was determined individually the size and weight of the drupes and their respective endocarps and seeds. These were put to germinated at constant 25° C and photoperiod of 8/ 16 h ( light/ dark) . At 12 days of incubation germination and vigor (dry weight and height of seedlings) was evaluated. Significative correlation was observed between weight and size of seeds with vigor, and also between weight and size of drupes with weight and size of respective seeds. The results suggest the selection of seeds and drupes of greater size for multiplication purposes.
