Diatomaceus earth with Deltametrina and alone were evaluated against Culex pipiens larvae from wild breeding places. The larvicidal effect of each product was compared in 3 doses. The insecticide produced almost 100% of mortality for all stages and dosage. Diatomaceus earth used alone had less efficiency for all stages and doses. The interpretation of the larvicidal effect from insecticide is due to the action of pyrethroids is proposed.
