In this paper we propose to outline some basic conceptualizations to understand the logic of the current agro-alimentary system . Following this, under the notion of hegemonic agroalimentary model, we consider some axes that allow us to identify the key features and to locate the social subjects that are involved. In this sense, we related interdependent dimensions, both social , economic, political and ecological and local, national and global, in different temporalities. Once the most important features of the hegemonic agro-alimentary model were described, we focused on the most general characteristics that this model has in the context of our country. The purpose is to explore and visualize some aspects that explore the real reasons - given by the conditions of the economic , social and political environment- that strongly establish the terms in which " we decide " much of our feeding.
