At the moment there is insufficient data on food choices of university students. Projective techniques help to gather information that would not be achieved by direct examination or by other means. This paper attempts to locally know the preference and reasons for the choice of foods or food preparations of the students during their stay in the faculties of the University of Buenos Aires
