Abstract

ROSLER, Andrés. Osvaldo Guariglia: En camino de una justicia global. Rev. latinoam. filos. [online]. 2010, vol.36, n.2, pp.285-297. ISSN 1852-7353.

The book object of this review essay defends a middle course of global justice between a cosmopolitan political uniformity and national particularism so that the nation-State is not incompatible with a cosmopolitan order, on the basis of a hearty Kantian practical philosophy. In this review essay some doubts are put across on the quasi-natural development that seems to be assumed by this book according to which all roads lead to Kant, and also some doubts on the reading itself of Kant which is offered by this book-doubts that might cross over from the strictly exegetical realm into philosophical country.

Keywords : Global justice; Guariglia; Kant; Cosmopolitanism; Nation-State.
