Abstract

The main objective of the article is to explain a process of political mobilization and the struggle against fascism where unions of the province took a nodal role. In that sense, the consequences of that dispute fought in the public arena, gave the union leadership of the province a visibility and a role that had not succeeded so far, and enabled them to strengthen the links and solidarity with other social sectors. To make this analysis we will focus in problems triggered in a very short period after which the clashes -both discursive and physical- between fascism and antifascism acquired a significant virulence in the province: the years 1935 and 1936
