This article analyses the election campaign that ended in April 1928 in Buenos Aires from the perspective of a radical party newspaper, La Época. Starting with the reconstruction of the scene that resulted in the re-election of Hipólito Yrigoyen (in the poll that would be later known as the plebiscite) the present piece examines the way in which radical party members themselves framed their point of view on two aspects: firstly, on how they conceived their own political party; secondly, on the society they intended to rouse and represent. The feature will concentrate on the manner in which the radicales personalistas organized their campaign, on the activities they carried out and on the tactic they employed to rally their adherents.
